Cambium Life Stress Calculator

Based on the Holmes-Rahe Life Stress Inventory  ·  Cambium Therapies

How much life change are you carrying?

The Holmes-Rahe Life Stress Inventory was developed by psychiatrists Thomas Holmes and Richard Rahe in 1967. They discovered that significant life events — both positive and negative — place measurable demands on our psychological and physical resources. Each event is assigned a score in Life Change Units (LCU) based on the degree of adjustment it requires.

Tick every event that has happened to you in the past 12 months. If an event occurred more than once, tick it once for each occurrence using the multiplier option. Your total score will indicate your current stress load and the associated health risk, with guidance from Cambium Therapies on next steps.
