This information is held in strict confidence and used solely to ensure the therapy provided is safe and appropriate for your needs.
Cancellation Policy. A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged at the full session rate. Exceptions may be made at the therapist's discretion in exceptional circumstances.
Everything you share within our sessions is held in the strictest confidence. Your therapist operates in accordance with the NCPS Code of Ethics and will not disclose information about you to any third party without your explicit consent, except in the following circumstances where there may be a legal or ethical duty to do so:
Where possible and safe to do so, your therapist will discuss any potential breach of confidentiality with you before acting. All client information is discussed in clinical supervision, but your identity is protected at all times.

Your therapist's primary mode of contact is hello@cambium-therapies.co.uk. Your therapist does not provide crisis support between sessions. If you experience a mental health crisis between sessions, please contact:
Social media. Your therapist will not initiate contact with you on social media platforms and asks that you do not follow or friend them online. This boundary protects the integrity of the therapeutic relationship.
Session recordings. Sessions will not be recorded by either party without the explicit prior written consent of the other.
Either party may end the therapeutic relationship. Where possible, it is beneficial to have an ending session to bring the work to a meaningful close. You are asked to give a minimum of 2 sessions' notice if you wish to end.
Your therapist may bring therapy to an end if they believe it is in your best interests, if sessions are missed without contact, if fees remain unpaid for more than 2 sessions, or if the therapeutic relationship breaks down. In such circumstances, your therapist will endeavour to provide referral information where appropriate.
Your therapist is a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and practises at all times within the NCPS Code of Ethics. Your therapist attends regular clinical supervision as required by the NCPS. Supervision is a professional requirement that helps ensure the quality and safety of the therapy you receive. Aspects of your work may be discussed in supervision; however, your identity will be protected and anonymised wherever possible.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the therapy or how you have been treated, you are encouraged to raise your concerns with your therapist directly in the first instance. If you are unable to resolve the matter through discussion, you have the right to make a formal complaint to the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), the therapist's professional registration body. All complaints are handled in accordance with the NCPS Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct Procedures.
