It's okay to talk.

You don't need to be in crisis to see a counsellor. Feeling stuck, short-tempered or just not yourself is reason enough. Men in the UK are around three times more likely than women to die by suicide.

Happy Halloween

Wishing you a cosy, gentle evening, however you're spending it.

Behind every session.

The training, standards and support that mean you're always in safe hands: three years of training, an accredited member of the NCPS on a PSA-accredited register, regular supervision, at least 30 hours of training every year, a code of ethics, and full professional insurance and DBS checks.

My qualifications

The clocks go back. Be gentle with yourself.

Darker evenings can bring a dip in mood or energy. A few small things can help: ten minutes of daylight, a walk along the seafront, and staying in touch with people. If it lingers, it's okay to reach out.

Spot the cycle.

One anxious thought, a racing heart, avoiding something, more worry. Thoughts, feelings, body and actions all feed into each other around a situation. Once you can see the pattern, you can step in and change it.

Grief isn't only about death.

We can also grieve a relationship ending, a change in our health, an opportunity that didn't happen, or an older version of ourselves. You don't have to carry it alone.

The Circle of Control

“Does online therapy actually work?”

Yes. For most people, it works just as well as face-to-face. No travelling, no waiting rooms, easier if mobility is an issue, and you can talk from your own sofa, cuppa in hand.

What the research says

What happens when you get in touch?

A free 20-minute chat to say hi and see if we click. An initial session to talk about your story and what you're hoping for. Weekly 50-minute sessions at the same time each week. Regular check-ins, shaping things together as you change.

How it works

Cambium: the living layer just beneath the bark, where new growth begins.

Real, lasting change rarely happens on the surface. It happens just underneath, quietly, from the inside out.
